*The fee for special exhibition is individually determined. The annual passport is valid for one year from the issue date.

*Kagoshima city residents are eligible for a discounted admission fee.

Opening Hours
- 9:30 – 18:00 (admission until 17:30)
Closed Date
- Tuesday (if a national holiday falls on Tuesday, it is closed the following day) and the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 – January 1)
Parking (free parking)
- Private parking available for 13 cars (two of which are exclusively reserved for physically handicapped)
*There is no parking available for larger buses. - Shared parking space for Kagoshima Modern Literature Museum, Kagoshima Marchen fairy Tale Museum and Municipal Art Museum: 31 regular cars, 3 large buses (7 minibuses)
Bus parking must be reserved. Please contact the museum in advance. - Parking at Minato-Odori Annex of City Hall*

Access
From Kagoshima Chuo Station
- Tram / Take #2 line bound for Kagoshima Station (about 7 minutes) -> Get off at “Asahi-dori” and walk 7 minutes.
- Bus / Go to the bus platform at East entrance; take bus from East #4 to #6 stop bound for Tenmonkan / City Hall (about 9 minutes) -> Get off at “Kinsei-cho” and walk 7 minutes.
- Kagoshima City View Bus / Go to the bus platform at East entrance; take Kagoshima City View Bus from East #4 stop (about 11 minutes) -> Get off at “Saigodozo-mae” and walk 3 minutes.
- By Car / Approximately 10 minutes by car.
From Kagoshima Airport
- Limousine bus / Go to the bus platform #2; take a bus bound for Kagoshima city via Ishiki or Yoshino-koen (about 50 minutes） → Get off at “Kinsei-cho” and walk 7 minutes.
- Via expressway / Drive about 15 minutes from Kagoshima-kita Interchange to direction Kagoshima city.
